About Us

Proudly serving our community with academic excellence for over 5 years, we offer an eclectic approach to multimodality learning, and we work closely with parents and families to support the educational goals across all settings.

Our staff are passionate about helping families understand their child's daily challenges, therefore increasing a positive outcome for their child's educational outcomes and improving their child's quality of life. Our staff believe that by providing families with knowledge and resources to become empowered, the impact of educational and therapeutic services on their children - our students - is greatly increased.

More than a school...

The Helping Hands Private Day School is the vision of Occupational Therapists and educators who have witnessed many children struggle with the classic educational model. This school provides an educational environment that focuses on teaching in a way that children can process and retain the concepts taught.

For example, the kinesthetic learner is given access to movement-based learning; the hands-on learner is given access to manipulates; and the child who needs structure with compromise is provided with child-driven experiences. Therapy techniques will be incorporated into the general curriculum to increase attention, awareness, and success, to include: Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy, Speech Therapy, and the Social Thinking Curriculum.
